The Verizon Prepaid “Basic Plan” is like the name says Basic. This plan has no daily fees but if you use the phone you will be paying 25 cents a minute. This is the best plan to add the text packages to if you only use the phone for texting.
Net10.com for 10 cents a minute or Tracfone.com. from 6.6 cents up to 33 cents a minute are better available alternatives.

The Prepaid Core Plan charges 99 cents per day access and calls are 10 cents per minute. Unlimited calls to Verizon Wireless mobile phones are free of charge. I used the Verizon Wireless Core plan for nearly a year, if most of your phone calls tend to be with Verizon Wireless users this is often a good option. My favorite feature of the Core plan is for 99 cents a day you can speak to anyone with Verizon Wireless for as long as you want.
The Verizon Prepaid Plus Plan is $1.99 per day access and charges 5 cents per minute. This plan also includes Unlimited night and weekend minutes (starting at 9 p.m.) and Unlimited calls to other Verizon Wireless phones all day.
The Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Talk Plan offers Unlimited minutes and one-cent text messages for $3.99 per day.

Additionally available from Tracfone.com is a $200 yearly plan. This $200 plan provides you with 1500 units 3000 units using DMFL) and also a year of service. With Double minutes for life installed these units will have cost 6.6 cents each and your per month cost is under $17 monthly.
